The Credits

The museum’s storyline was developed through primary research as well as drawn from the large body of published work of historians who have passionately written about New Orleans history and the Storyville district.  For visitors interested in a deeper dive, many of their books are available in our gift shop.

With the support of researchers, editors, set designers, audio and video producers, actors, graphic designers and artists, we carefully collected, created and curated a diverse range of artifacts, photographs, documents, original art and audiovisual content that bring the story of early New Orleans and Storyville to life.
